I create products which provide a higher level of capability to those who use them. In some cases, the end user has a physical impairment or limitation. In others, the "disability" stems from common life circumstances such as that which inspired the product described here; ExpressWear.
	ExpressWear received an Honorable Mention in I.D. Magazine Design Review 2000.

For many nursing mothers who work away from their children, pumping milk while at the office presents challenges in terms of privacy and time constraints. Designed to facilitate the use of a Medela Pump in Style ® breast pump, the ExpressWear system provides a measure of privacy to the nursing mother who does not have access to a discreet space at work. In the interest of time efficiency, the sash apparatus holds the collection bottles in place, freeing up the user's hands for other work at her desk. The system adjusts to fit a range of body types, as well as to accommodate the fluctuations in an individual user's body size.
